Police car explosion in Damascus leaves 5 policemen injured

The police vehicle went off at the Barzeh police station in a namesake neighborhood northwest of Damascus, said state news agency SANA.

It added that investigations immediately started to determine the cause of the explosion.

Earlier on April 2, an explosive device detonated a car in the Damascus' western Mazzeh neighborhood, causing injuries and damage.
